Is there a tax benefit to home improvements?
I have been spending a fortune on improvements to the house such as remodeling bathrooms, bedrooms, office, updating light fixtures, new hardware, etc. Or is tax benefit only on energy items such as new energy efficient appliances, doors, windows, and insulation. I have been keeping all reciepts just in case. Thanks!
