In re-modeling my bathroom, I want to build the shower walls and entire bath floor out of concrete…?
My goal: To bring my front hall closet into the bathroom as a shower and to install a new bathtub in place of the old one. What I’d really like is to have the shower walls, the entire bathroom floor and quite possibly a wainscoting be seamless and of the same material. The goal is to gently slope the floor toward the shower drain (there will be no lip between the floor and the shower base) for easy care and mopping. (Does that make sense???)
Can I use concrete or must I spend the money on tile or stone?
I’m open to any ideas – it will be some time before I’m prepared to start on this project.
