Does anyone know the Illinois Statute of Limitations for rental property problems?

I moved out of an IL apartment 2/2006. Tho I had apartment & rug professionally cleaned, landlord said she found 6′ x 6′ area that my cats ruined, so she kept $875 deposit & said she would be sending me bill. She actually said kitchen floor was covered w/cat hair & I called her liar because I vacuumed again before I locked up. They were not available 2 C apartment before I left. They had whole apartment recarpeted which was unnecessary bcoz spare bedroom was only used for storage. Only thing they had to do was replace living room carpet & underlayment boards if necessary in that 6′ x 6′ area (I think she’s lying about the size) which should not have cost whole deposit. I’m literally sick thinking she’s going to bill me for all this back rent bcoz I don’t know if apartment has ever been rented since I moved out of state which at this point would B 19 months at $665. Also, how can I find out if it is rented yet?
